etsy shopping

ok so i made some money on etsy and then spent some money on etsy. it's a never ending cycle really. somehow i need to learn to save my pennies. but there is way too much cute stuff on etsy! here are some of my recent purchases and links to the shops:
makeup brush roll/organizer from a soft black star. i got this in the mail the other day and i LOVE it. it is made very well and i just love the green of the fabric. i'm into zebra print lately too so that makes it even cooler.

i have not received this one yet. but i'm excited! perspex camera necklace in black by finest imaginary.

i just got these in the mail yesterday and they are adorable! i picked red and black for one bird and kelly green and black for the second bird. by punch drunk princess.

i bought these fingerless gloves for my friend for her bday. i reeeaaally want a pair for myself soon! by miss indie.

i bought this angel necklace for my sister for christmas. she LOVES angels and the antique look so this is perfect for her. the necklace came packaged in the most adorable way. amy of sparkle rocks packaged everything in fashion magazine paper. very creative and green!


chris and i went to my favorite park the other day and hung out and had a picnic. i wish i could have days like these more often. so relaxing!

heavy metal

so i have a little shop update for you. i designed a couple of necklaces that are made with chunky, layered dark metal. ((they are actually very lightweight)). i made these with gunmetal and black aluminum chain. check 'em out!

transforming little bits

so my friend gave me some random pieces of faux leather that were hanging from the zipper of her new purse. i decided they were perfect for some sort of craft. the "leather" is really cool. it has this bronze crackled finish and it's brown underneath. i recently bought some studs and i used the flat circle ones for this project....i turned them into earrings! i also made another black and silver pair of earrings today. i used black leather from an old purse, pyramid studs and vintage chains. i have listed the black pair in my etsy shop. and the bronze ones will come later... whatever ones her and i don't keep!
