Last night I watched Return to House on Haunted Hill and I'm still on the fence whether I liked the first one better or the sequel. The sequel picks up with the movie showing what Dr. Vannacut did to all of his patients, I don't know why they did that cause if you saw the first House on Haunted Hill then you already know what happened. Ariel Wolfe is the sister of Sara Wolfe, a survivor of a massacre some years ago in the sanatorium "Hill House" Sara claims that phantoms in the house killed her friends but no one believes her, when out of the blue she kills herself her sister Ariel tries to figure out the reason why she did it. Suddenly Ariel and her friend Paul gets kidnapped by the douche bag art dealer Desmond. It seems that Desmond knows a lot about Sara and Hill House. Ariel is forced to help Desmond find a precious artifact, a figurine of the demon Baphomet that is worth a pretty penny, which is said to be hidden some where in Hill House.
I am so in love with this green nail polish right now! It's super bright in real life.

The Devil's Rejects is the squeal to House Of 1000 Corpses which is also directed by Rob Zombie. Both films are amazing but I think I like the squeal better, I don't know why it's just better. I also think it's because it shows more of Captain Spaulding in this movie then the first one did and I really liked his character. Captain Spaulding is played by Sid Haig and he did a great job. He was creepy and a huge smart ass and very believable. This movie also had some laughable moments which the first one didn't. What I love about a horror movie isn't all about the blood and guts but a good story. If you can laugh throughout the movie while it's still keeping it's creepy, sick and twisted style then that's a 10 in my book. A lot of movies can't do that and it's just cheesy and not funny. The acting is terrible and the story isn't very good cause they spend too much timIe on their slap stick comedy then the horror *cough Drag Me To Hell cough, cough*
I decided to do a review every night since this is what I want to do for a living so I might as well get enough practice. Today's review is on Rob Zombie's House Of 1000 Corpses. This was Rob's director's debut and he did a kick ass job. This movie was awesome, I loved it. It's about two couples that go on a road trip across country. They end up taking a misguided tour onto the back roads of America in search of the local legend known as Dr. Satan. While on their search they come across a girl known as Baby hitchhiking and offered to give her a ride back to her house ( bad idea) since she mentioned she knew where Dr. Satan was last seen.
I've heard from a couple of people that they regret ever seeing The Exorcist, that instantly makes you think it's either because it's too scary or just too evil. I've been pumped to see this movie cause it's everything I love. A haunting story, someone possessed by a demon/ the devil, based on a true story, and most importantly everyone told me not to see it so of course I had too. I not only saw it I bought it :D I was waiting for the perfect day to watch this movie cause when I came home with my stash of horror movies I bought from Hollywood Video to show my parents my dad wasn't too happy when I showed him this movie, in fact he told me I should throw it away. I finally had the time to sit down and watch it and my parents just so happened to be gone that night. The first part of the movie was kinda boring and hard to get into but once Regan was possessed it started getting interesting.
Me and my friends went to see the horror movie "Drag Me To Hell" and it was the dumbest movie I have ever seen since the "Haunting Of Molly Hartley" It was really cheesy not even funny even though it tried so hard to be funny with it's slap stick comedy. It was more of a punch in the crouch. The acting was so bad it was like nails on a chalk board. I do not recommend this movie at all, I kinda want my money back cause I was very disappointed in it. It was so awful. The movie is about a loan officer named Christine Brown who had to evict an old lady from her home since she already had 5 loans from that bank and couldn't pay it off. The old lady decides to get back at Christine by following her out to her car creepy stalker style. She then tries to beat her up and that was interesting to say the least.
Here are some of my favorites from her shop.
