Singer-songwriter Christina Perri, born August 19, 1986, recently released a five-single EP, The Ocean Way Sessions, on November 9. With her haunting single “Jar of Hearts” debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 63 without any radio play, it is no wonder Christina Perri has already become a notable force in the music industry.
Growing up in Bensalem, Pa. (a suburb of Philadelphia) Perri began her music career at a young age; at the age of 6 she first sang at her Holy Communion. Her parents realized her talents and enrolled her in piano lessons as well as musical theater groups. Perri always knew what she liked in musically and said her piano teacher “fired” her because she used to change the endings to songs-- she didn’t like the way they were written and believed her versions were better! At the age of 16, Perri taught herself how to play the guitar by watching VHS tapes of Blind Melon.
Only a couple of weeks ago, Christina Perri was serving coffee at Melrose Place Cafe in Los Angeles California, wondering when she’d get her big break. Thank to the speed of Social Media, Word Of Mouth… Today, she’s busy fielding media requests and answering stacks of fan mail.
It all started when her close friend (Keltie Colleen, a Radio City Rockette), handed Christina’s demo toStacey Tookey, choreographer for the hit show – So You Think You Can Dance. Perri’s song
Religious, moral and political views Bieber is a Christian. He said he has a relationship with Jesus, talks to him and "he's the reason I'm here". Bieber's comments in a February 2011 profile in Rolling Stone sparked controversy. Asked whether a person should wait until marriage to have sex, Bieber responded, "I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them." Asked about his opinion on abortion, Bieber said he doesn't "believe in abortion" and that it is "like killing a baby". When asked about abortion in cases of rape, he said, "Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that." In the same interview, Bieber talked about homosexuality, stating that "It's everyone's own decision to do that. It doesn’t affect me and shouldn't affect anyone else", with Rolling Stone commenting, "It is not clear whether he intended to label homosexuality as a lifestyle choice." However, Bieber has also contributed to the It Gets Better Project, a project started in response to the suicide of Billy Lucas, a teenager who was the target of anti-gay bullying. Bieber has said he is not interested in obtaining United States citizenship, praising Canada as being "the best country in the world", citing its health care system as an example. He is also a supporter of US president Barack Obama, but he does share some aspects of Sarah Palin's political views. justin bieber justin bieber justin bieber justin bieber justin bieber justin bieber justin bieber justin bieber justin bieber justin bieber

We all know about them and we've all heard about them and we've all tried them at one time or another, but why is it that I always go back to them??? Online dating sites have been out in the world as long as I can remember. When someone wants to meet that special person and they have trouble meeting new people, they go for the online dating route. I've signed up on a few dating sites, like 2 or 3..... okay 8 and boy do I have some crazy stories to tell you. I'm not in school and I don't have much of a social life since all I do is work AND there's no eligible guys at my work, I decided to try the online dating experience for myself and I always get the same thing. DOUCHE BAGS!! The guys on the sites aren't the only problem you have to deal with, the girls are pretty nasty as well. With the guys you have the cocky jocks who think they can get into your pants by some smooth pick up line that isn't all that smooth, more crooked like. Then you have the blunt guys who wont let anything stand in their way in getting what they want which is why they'll just blurt out "You wanna get freaky?" Ha no I don't.
Then you get the just plain dumb guys who will ask you stupid questions thinking they're actually scoring points with you when they're not, and you try to send them signals that aren't rude but obvious that you don't want to talk to them anymore but they still don't get it and they continue to annoy you. You also have the guys who try to act cool and funny on their profile by making a joke and they say to message them if you know the answer and when you do they never message you back. Hey, I'm totally fine if I'm not you're type and you don't want to talk to me or anything like that, but don't make a joke and tell someone to message you letting you know that you got their joke when you wont even message back.
On to the girls....... Seeing the type of girls that are on this site makes me ashamed for even being a girl. You have your Virgin who's looking for their soul mate and will only have sex with you after you two get married. Then you have your high maintenance bitch who will turn down every single guy that messages her because they don't meet up to her high and demanding standards. Then you have the sluts who only want a one night stand and who will DO just about any one they can get. Last but not least you have the crazy psycho girls who are pretty much bipolar and your not surprised as to why they're STILL single.
See, it's not pretty and as the days go by it's getting worse which is why it might not be a great idea to meet your future boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse off of a dating site. Don't get me wrong I've met some pretty awesome people offline and I'm very grateful that I know them but I've also met some skanky people, my ex boyfriend comes to mind. Jack ass stole money from me! I hope you all find this entertaining and educational because the world is a scary place and I wanted you all to know just how scary it is which is why I made this post. :D To tie up my post I wanted to show you JUST how scary online dating can be by showing you a little video a girl posted for eHarmony. It's so flippin' funny I almost peed my pants!
Everybody remembers their first time. Never their second or their third, always their first. You remember the feeling you had in the beginning, middle and end. You remember the thoughts running through your head. "What's this going to be like? Am I going to cry? Am I going to want to do it again?" Of course I'm talking about my first horror movie.... you sickos! ; ] For me, my first "horror" movie was Beetlejuice, some may say it's not really horror but it still has that horror style and vibe to it. After all it is about dead people. What is it about horror movies that draw you in and make you thirst for more? Is it the sense of originality? The darkness of the movie? The sick and twisted feeling you get while watching the movie. For me I love the sick and twisted feeling you get when you watch a good horror movie. I say good because there are a lot of horror movies out there but only the good ones give you that special feeling. Sure you can get that sick and twisted feeling in a not so great horror but that feeling isn't always enough for you to want to continue to watch horror movies.
A good horror movie leaves you with the feeling of "What the Hell just happened?!" And I just love that feeling, I love feeling disturbed and weirded out and I love the dark and morbidness of the whole thing which is why I continue to get drawn back into the House of Horror. With Beetlejuice being my first horror movie, growing up I remember watching Poltergeist, Stephen King's IT, turning on the t.v. to see Chucky on the screen, then running off crying my eyes out cause that little bastard scares the shit out of me. But the movie that really got me morbidly obsessed with horror movies is none other then Freddy Vs. Jason. The two main men in my life on one big screen, that makes this little Scream Queen smile. After watching this movie it's no surprise why it spawned my love for horror movies. Freddy Vs. Jason has everything that a good horror movie must have and then some. A lot of people might say that this movie wasn't that great but I strongly disagree and think this movie is bad ass. This movie was also the reason why I went on my Nightmare on Elm Street spree and watched all the movies and fell in love.
With most people in the horror community and world they saw all the NOES movies growing up but for me I didn't get to see them till I was 15. Growing up in a Mormon family in Utah I wasn't aloud to watch those type of movies because they were all rated R. After I saw Freddy Vs. Jason with my cousin we rented all the NOES movies from Blockbuster and we watched all of them at her house so my parents wouldn't know, yeah I know I'm a rebel. Because of my "living situation" I did have a different horror experience but a horror experience none the less. The reason for this post is that we all had our own horror experience which led to our ultimate horror obsession. A experience we'll never forget. What was YOU'RE first? ; ]
