The HORRORS Of Online Dating.......

^^^ Mmmmhmmmm that's right!

We all know about them and we've all heard about them and we've all tried them at one time or another, but why is it that I always go back to them??? Online dating sites have been out in the world as long as I can remember. When someone wants to meet that special person and they have trouble meeting new people, they go for the online dating route. I've signed up on a few dating sites, like 2 or 3..... okay 8 and boy do I have some crazy stories to tell you. I'm not in school and I don't have much of a social life since all I do is work AND there's no eligible guys at my work, I decided to try the online dating experience for myself and I always get the same thing. DOUCHE BAGS!! The guys on the sites aren't the only problem you have to deal with, the girls are pretty nasty as well. With the guys you have the cocky jocks who think they can get into your pants by some smooth pick up line that isn't all that smooth, more crooked like. Then you have the blunt guys who wont let anything stand in their way in getting what they want which is why they'll just blurt out "You wanna get freaky?" Ha no I don't.

Then you get the just plain dumb guys who will ask you stupid questions thinking they're actually scoring points with you when they're not, and you try to send them signals that aren't rude but obvious that you don't want to talk to them anymore but they still don't get it and they continue to annoy you. You also have the guys who try to act cool and funny on their profile by making a joke and they say to message them if you know the answer and when you do they never message you back. Hey, I'm totally fine if I'm not you're type and you don't want to talk to me or anything like that, but don't make a joke and tell someone to message you letting you know that you got their joke when you wont even message back.

On to the girls....... Seeing the type of girls that are on this site makes me ashamed for even being a girl. You have your Virgin who's looking for their soul mate and will only have sex with you after you two get married. Then you have your high maintenance bitch who will turn down every single guy that messages her because they don't meet up to her high and demanding standards. Then you have the sluts who only want a one night stand and who will DO just about any one they can get. Last but not least you have the crazy psycho girls who are pretty much bipolar and your not surprised as to why they're STILL single.

See, it's not pretty and as the days go by it's getting worse which is why it might not be a great idea to meet your future boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse off of a dating site. Don't get me wrong I've met some pretty awesome people offline and I'm very grateful that I know them but I've also met some skanky people, my ex boyfriend comes to mind. Jack ass stole money from me! I hope you all find this entertaining and educational because the world is a scary place and I wanted you all to know just how scary it is which is why I made this post. :D To tie up my post I wanted to show you JUST how scary online dating can be by showing you a little video a girl posted for eHarmony. It's so flippin' funny I almost peed my pants!

Crazy cat lover who wants a soulmate!

My First Time...

Everybody remembers their first time. Never their second or their third, always their first. You remember the feeling you had in the beginning, middle and end. You remember the thoughts running through your head. "What's this going to be like? Am I going to cry? Am I going to want to do it again?" Of course I'm talking about my first horror movie.... you sickos! ; ] For me, my first "horror" movie was Beetlejuice, some may say it's not really horror but it still has that horror style and vibe to it. After all it is about dead people. What is it about horror movies that draw you in and make you thirst for more? Is it the sense of originality? The darkness of the movie? The sick and twisted feeling you get while watching the movie. For me I love the sick and twisted feeling you get when you watch a good horror movie. I say good because there are a lot of horror movies out there but only the good ones give you that special feeling. Sure you can get that sick and twisted feeling in a not so great horror but that feeling isn't always enough for you to want to continue to watch horror movies.

A good horror movie leaves you with the feeling of "What the Hell just happened?!" And I just love that feeling, I love feeling disturbed and weirded out and I love the dark and morbidness of the whole thing which is why I continue to get drawn back into the House of Horror. With Beetlejuice being my first horror movie, growing up I remember watching Poltergeist, Stephen King's IT, turning on the t.v. to see Chucky on the screen, then running off crying my eyes out cause that little bastard scares the shit out of me. But the movie that really got me morbidly obsessed with horror movies is none other then Freddy Vs. Jason. The two main men in my life on one big screen, that makes this little Scream Queen smile. After watching this movie it's no surprise why it spawned my love for horror movies. Freddy Vs. Jason has everything that a good horror movie must have and then some. A lot of people might say that this movie wasn't that great but I strongly disagree and think this movie is bad ass. This movie was also the reason why I went on my Nightmare on Elm Street spree and watched all the movies and fell in love.

With most people in the horror community and world they saw all the NOES movies growing up but for me I didn't get to see them till I was 15. Growing up in a Mormon family in Utah I wasn't aloud to watch those type of movies because they were all rated R. After I saw Freddy Vs. Jason with my cousin we rented all the NOES movies from Blockbuster and we watched all of them at her house so my parents wouldn't know, yeah I know I'm a rebel. Because of my "living situation" I did have a different horror experience but a horror experience none the less. The reason for this post is that we all had our own horror experience which led to our ultimate horror obsession. A experience we'll never forget. What was YOU'RE first? ; ]

Biography
Simons was born in Hoensbroek and had an interest in music from the age of ten; after listening to the Nightwish album Oceanborn at the age of fifteen, she began taking classical singing lessons. She sang in a choir for a couple of months in 2002, joining Epica soon after. She is currently involved in a romantic relationship with Kamelot keyboardist Oliver Palotai. Her favorite song to perform is "Reprendo mai più" by Emma Shapplin.
On January 10, 2008, it was announced on Epica's website that Simone was suffering from MRSA. This caused Epica to have to cancel many of their shows. In February, her condition was getting better, but she was not completely recovered. In March, Epica toured with Amanda Somerville, replacing Simons for their US tour until 11 May 2009, when Simone performed again at their show in Bibelot, Dordrecht.
Simone joined the band Kamelot on the tour for their most recent album Poetry for the Poisoned as a supporting singer and guest member, after the departure of vocalist Roy Khan.

Leonardo DiCaprio early career

Early career
DiCaprio's career began with his appearance in several commercials and educational films. After being booted off the set of children's television series Romper Room for being disruptive at the age of five, DiCaprio followed his older stepbrother Adam Farrar into television commercials, landing an ad for Matchbox cars at 1 In 1990, he got his break on television when he was cast in the short-lived series based on the movie Parenthood. After Parenthood, DiCaprio had bit parts on several shows, including The New Lassie and Roseanne, as well as a brief stint on the soap opera Santa Barbara, playing the young Mason Capwell. His involvement in Parenthood and the daily soap earned him a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actor each.
1991–1995
His debut film role was in the comedic sci-fi horror film Critters 3, in which he played the stepson of an evil landlord, a role that DiCaprio described as "your average, no-depth, standard kid with blond hair."[citation needed] Released in 1991, the movie went direct-to-video. Soon after, he became a recurring cast member on the ABC sitcom Growing Pains, playing Luke Brower, a homeless boy who is taken in by the Seaver family. DiCaprio made his big screen breakthrough in 1992, when he was handpicked by Robert De Niro out of 400 young actors to play the lead role in This Boy's Life, co-starring Ellen Barkin and De Niro himself.
Later in 1993, DiCaprio co-starred as the mentally handicapped brother to Johnny Depp in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, a comic-tragic odyssey of a dysfunctional Iowa family. Director Lasse Hallström admitted he was initially looking for a less good-looking actor but finally settled on DiCaprio as he had emerged as "the most observant [actor]" among all auditioners.Budgeted at US$11.0 million, the film became a financial and critical success, resulting in a domestic box office total of US$9.1 million and various accolades for DiCaprio, who was awarded the National Board of Review Award and nominated for both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for his portrayal. New York Times critic Janet Maslin praised DiCaprio's performance, writing "the film's real show-stopping turn comes from Mr. DiCaprio, who makes Arnie's many tics so startling and vivid that at first he is difficult to watch. The performance has a sharp, desperate intensity from beginning to end."
DiCaprio's first effort of 1995 was Sam Raimi's The Quick and the Dead, a western film in which he appeared alongside Gene Hackman, Sharon Stone, and Russell Crowe, playing the role of Hackman's alleged son named Kid. Sony Pictures was dubious over DiCaprio's casting, and as a result, Stone decided to pay for the actor's salary herself. The film was released to a dismal box office performance, barely grossing US$18.5 million in the United States, and received mixed reviews from critics. Jonathan Rosenbaum from the Chicago Reader observed that "Raimi tries to do a Sergio Leone, and though The Quick and the Dead is highly enjoyable in spots, it doesn't come across as very convincing. Afterwards DiCaprio starred in Total Eclipse, a fictionalized account of the homosexual relationship between Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine, played by David Thewlis. He replaced River Phoenix in the role of Rimbaud, who had died during pre-production on the project. A minor arthouse success, the film grossed US$0.34 million throughout its domestic theatrical run.
DiCaprio appeared alongside friends Kevin Connolly and Tobey Maguire in the mostly improvised short film called Don's Plum as a favor to aspiring director R.D. Robb. When Robb decided to expand the black-and-white film to feature length however, DiCaprio and Maguire obtained its blocking, arguing that they never intended to make it a theatrical release as it would have commercial value thanks to their stardom.Nevertheless, the film eventually premiered at the 2001 Berlin International Film Festival, where it was well-received by critics, with Time Out New York writer Mike D'Angelo calling it "the best film [I saw] in Berlin."DiCaprio's last film of the year 1995 was The Basketball Diaries, a biopic about Jim Carroll.
